Tim Tebow Isn’t Throwing?

It was different back at Florida

Tim Tebow has decided not to throw at the combine in Indy…big suprise.  Tim Tebow has also decided to run his mouth…big surprise, right?  Here’s the problem:  Tim Tebow is reminding us that he is human, he’s a kid, and he has no idea what he’s gotten himself in to.  Check this out:

When everyone was speculating that Tim Tebow couldn’t hang after their runaway national title in 2008 Tim Tebow said he was thinking about coming out early just to prove everybody wrong.  I’m pretty sure that someone smart talked him into staying in school, but now he’s resurrecting his bad attitude from 2008 in 2010.

Tebow has, apparently, some of the suckiest mechanics in the history of Quarterbacking.  If he doesn’t fix it–or doesn’t make people think he CAN fix it–then he needs to get a day job or change positions.  Here’s the thing:  I don’t think you can fix that.

I think Tebow can’t be fixed just like every other guy who just doesn’t have “it” for the NFL.  Some people do and some people don’t.  No big deal, but the smart ones change positions.  Eric Crouch, Hines Ward, Antoine Randle-El, etc.  I don’t think Tebow is that smart.

He’s reminding us all that he is bull-headed when it comes to the position.  He might be the nicest guy in the world and the hardest worker, but if he can’t give this thing up then he’s done.

Honestly, would you want to piddle around with this guy when he really wants to be a QB and you know that’s never going to happen?  What would be the point?  When I said he might succeed in the league I was speculating on certain teams and certain situations.  However, I didn’t realize he, like, couldn’t throw.  The whole “not being able to throw” thing is a problem.

Tim, before you alienate everyone you need to give up the dream…and fast!
